Eco-Responsible Surfing in Moliets | Ocean & Chênes Lièges Beach Protection
At the École de Surf du Golf, eco-responsible surfing in Moliets is much more than a concept: it's a daily, concrete commitment. Located directly on the protected Chênes Lièges beach in Moliets-et-Maa, we live in constant contact with the ocean and act to protect it.
Teaching that goes beyond technique.
During your lessons and courses, our qualified instructors share not only the fundamentals and techniques to progress in surfing, but also a deep respect for the environment. Understanding tides, currents, the importance of the dune belt and the impact of our actions is an integral part of our teaching approach.

Our Concrete Actions for Eco-Responsible Surfing
Eco-responsible surfing in Moliets is reflected in daily actions and regular initiatives:
- Organisation of beach clean-ups on the beaches of Moliets in partnership with the Surfrider Foundation.
- Raising awareness among all our students about protection of the dune belt, local biodiversity, and the Landes forest.
- Exclusive use of eco-responsible products : biodegradable wax, mineral sunscreen, flyers and printed materials on recycled paper or from sustainably managed forests.
- Reducing single-use plastic and encouraging simple actions (picking up litter, respecting marine wildlife…).
Why eco-responsible surfing in Moliets is essential for us?
We believe that every surfer has a role to play in preserving the marine environment. Rather than pointing fingers at polluters, we prefer to act locally on our playground: the magnificent Chênes Lièges beach. Surfing responsibly means surfing better and longer.
